I first met Eric, Martha and Dunc and the rest of the Robertson clan back in the early '80s when I moved from Toronto to work in Kingston. I greatly looked forward to the time we got together at the farm in Joyceville. There was always a big smile, hug and welcome from Martha every time I showed up at the door looking for a nice home-cooked meal and a cold beer. Great memories, and Martha, will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace.

Dale and All of the Robertson Family:
" Martha will be dearly remembered as a kind, giving and gentle soul " as posted - such a true description for such a sweet Lady. She was a delight to visit with. Her beautiful characteristics are reflected very much in her children.

Our family remembers Martha and Duncan as extended family to our kids when they were growing up. They were like grandparents. We spent many Christmas Eves and other occasions with them. Rest in Peace dear Martha. Our condolences to all the family. Love from Karen Edgeworth (previously Laughlin), Kelly, Mike and Ben Laughlin.

My deepest condolences to the entire Robertson family on the loss of Martha.Upon hearing of her passing, My mind drifted back to when I was little and she would babysit my brother and myself. She was always glad and smiling anytime you stopped in to visit. I can picture myself standing inside the back door with Mom or Dad, Martha standing in the kitchen , telling you a story and Duncan sitting at the dining room table jumping in with the odd correction as only he could do.
A wonderful woman who left a wonderful legacy!

I have known the Robertson family little over 45 years....Eric and I have knocked around since then and still maintain a buddy relationship even though like to get together more often....I considered Duncan and Martha like my second parents and the girls and males like extended family....always welcome and always glad to get together....raise a little hell and enjoy each other …..
I visited Martha last year at the nursing home...Eric said to Martha do you know who this is ….without a second thought she said yes...Ron...and we gave a big hug ...spent some time with her in the afternoon and said we would get together again....meant well but didn't ….and now she will be part of my memories until such time both Duncan and her will hold open the gates of heaven to entice me there....
A lady of grace, gentleness, happiness, mom and wife and also a great friend whom I admired and will miss.....Martha, until we meet again...its been a pleasure know you...……..love Ron and Jocelyn Begg

Dear Dale,
I will always remember your Mom's kindness towards my children. They will always remember 'Grandma Martha' in her warm and friendly apartment and the many hot dog lunches they had there all those years ago.
What a wonderful long life she had! You were so very good to her. I know she will be watching down on you!
Thinking of you and your family at this time.
Love

I will always remember Martha as my 4-H leader. I looked forward to that trek up the hill on Saturday mornings. She gave me her silver spoons for the clubs I did when I was under 12.She was a wonderful neighbour who always wore a smile. She also babysat my younger brother Ed so mom could teach. My sympathy to all the family. R.I.P. Martha. You were a remarkable woman.

We only met Martha a few times; when we were privileged to share family celebrations with the Robertson clan. However, she will be warmly remembered as a kind, gentle lady with an infectious smile and beautiful laugh. She will also be remembered because she passed her belief in kindness and living by the golden rule on to her children and grandchildren...a few of which we are honored to call friends...Judy, Paul, Trevor, Kyle, Jane, Nina, Jack, Dale and all the family, Dave and I send our condolences for your loss. Martha loved the color red, and she wore it well!
I fondly remember a dozen teenage girls gathered around the Robertson table, tackling the weekly 4-H club assignment. Gosh we had fun!
Nina I am so glad we had a short visit before the holidays, and I got to hear about your Mom. I'm sure she enjoyed Christmas day at the Gamble house!
My sincere condolences to each and every one of her family. A great lady, is now resting in peace.
Gone but never forgotten. ❤
