Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Carveth Care Centre on Wednesday January 2, 2019. Noreen (nee Driscoll), beloved wife of the late Germain Guindon. Much loved mother of Roger (Lynn) and Brian (Andrea). Cherished grandmother of Nicole (Mark Lawler), Lance (Tonya) Guindon, Rachel Vanhooser (Steve), Pamela (Chris Turcotte) and Mary Dave (Doran).  Great grandmother of Victoria, Tyler, Melissa, Nicholas L, Wyatt, Levi, Kaleb, Tamara, Danielle, Hailey, Royce, Chelsea, Nathan and Nicholas D. Great great grandmother of Sophia, Shaylee, Aubree and Lily. Dear sister of Rosie Duffy (Russell). Predeceased by brothers Donnie, Maurice and Lorne Driscoll, and by 1 sister June Kendall. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Philomena’s Church Howe Island on Monday January 7 at 11:00 am. Rite of Committal St. Philomena’s Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the UHKF Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff and nurses at the Carveth Care Centre for their wonderful compassion and care Noreen received while in their care.
