I consider myself so fortunate to have known John. He was a kind and gentle person with a great sense of humor! As everyone knows he was very clever, strong, handy, practical, and loved his trade as a welder. He so generously gave me a little space in his shop to work, taught me all kinds of tricks of the trade and was always willing to lend me a hand while I worked on my own projects. He was a patient and encouraging teacher. I will miss being greeted at the garage door, with his broad smile. John would say "Here comes trouble!", always making me feel welcome. There are so many things about John that I won't forget and will cherish forever. I will also miss seeing John's friends in the shop sitting amongst the tools and treasure! John, of course, being the greatest treasure of all.
My condolences to his family and son Allan

Al, Sharon and families,
We send our heartfelt condolences to each of you on the passing of your dad. Memories of him in his welding cap with grease on his hands and a big smile on his face. He loved to tinker in his shop and could fix or build almost anything.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Very surprised and saddened to hear of Mr. Peters death. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.
Mr. Peters loved what he did and treated his customers with respect and fairness. He clearly showed that if you loved what you did, it wasn't work but rather something to be enjoyed...one of life's lessons.
He will be remembered in our prayers.
