Passed away peacefully at the Carveth Care Centre on Friday September 21, 2018 at the age of 92. Mel Norris, beloved husband of the late Lorraine Hannah. Much loved father of Robert and his wife Debrah. Cherished grandfather of Wendy (Brent), James, Becky (Chris) and Michelle (Colin). Great grandfather of Ryan, Matthew, Shelby, Avery, Morgan, Chase, Liam and Krista (Robert). Great great grandfather of Aaden and Aubrey. He will be missed by his sister Kally McCarney, and his 2 brothers Frank and Art Norris. He is predeceased by 2 brothers Jack and Ed Norris and by 2 sisters Lucille Lawless and Mary Burke. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service for Mel will be held from the Carveth Care Centre Chapel on Thursday September 27 at 10:00 am. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
