Dalla and Jeremy were our close friends and neighbours for many years, and we shared many good memories of doing things together. Jeremy's sense of humour was always present, even if the joke was on him. They will always be in our hearts.

Rest in peace, Jeremy. You have given of yourself to so many people in times of their need and otherwise, to just be there for them. You were a guardian angel who showed me how possible it was to learn new life skills, whether it was framing and building a storage shed, to viewing the world in new and novel ways. You will be remembered for your loving kindness, your patience, your abundant strength, your compassion. I hold dear to my heart all the times that you and Dalla were present for me, the best of friends. Sincerest condolences to all your family and widespread friends. Your life touched so many.

We will miss him and his uncanny ability to remember the most obscure facts about sailing with the Navy or his time at Royal Roads or at the Royal Engineering College in England.Always an interesting man to listen to. The Friday lunch red shirts group at the Legion is down one important member. Please accept my condolences.

Dear Cousins... words can't cover how much my heart goes out to you in this time. I'm so sorry for your loss, and hope that the joy of a lifetime of memories takes the place of the grief that surely exists today. A lifetime of memories with your Faja.
Uncle Jeremy (great Uncle as we called him) holds an incredibly special place in my memories from teaching me how to ride a bike, camping, lake swimming, and canoeing as a child. Many many sailing trips with however many combinations of brothers, sisters, cousins and friends. And I'll never forget the day he and Dalla showed up at one of my military posts where the gate guard announced him as Leftenant Commander D. Jeremy Brown. So many fantastic memories that still keep me connected to you all - even after so many years.
Although we will not be able to attend the memorial this next week, we are there in spirit and will have a private toast to a great life well lived for great Uncle Jeremy.
Love to you all as well as Andrea, Martin and Emilie
Derek, Krystal, Spencer and Jeremy (who is named for great Uncle Jeremy)

Christopher and Jeremy together with Big Jim and Derek on an outing in Gan. Family gathered in this time to celebrate Dalla's life, and while that had some sadness to go with it there was celebration, storytelling, and song. Here, we offer cheers at simply being able to come together. If memory serves me correctly, it really was three cheers...!
