It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth who died peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KGH) on Monday May 14, 2018. Ruth is survived by her partner of 27 years, David Riley. She is the much loved mother of David Curtis of Vancouver and Laura Holthus (nee Curtis) of Kemptville and the cherished grandmother of Jonah Holthus. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Thursday May 17 from 7-9 pm and again on Friday May 18 from 1:00pm until time of service in our chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at Gananoque Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army, Gananoque Food Bank, or the Gananoque and District Humane Society, would be appreciated by the family.
