I must relate to you a lasting memory Noreen left with me. One time when John and I were on our way to Triangle P Deer Camp with his station wagon loaded to capacity except for enough room left to hold refreshments to sustain us through the hunt which we planned on acquiring at the LCBO in Maynooth. Unfortunately the old wagon gave up the ghost at Sterling whereas the mechanic said it could not be repaired for a couple of days. John immediately phoned Noreen and told her of our predicament and within 2 hours she came rolling into the garage in her car. We loaded what gear we could into the car making sure to leave enough room for the supplies in Maynooth and proceeded on to camp. It was near dark when Noreen pulled out of camp for the arduous 3 hour drive home to Gan and as she did I thought to myself, what a wonderful woman. What can I say about John ! He was my friend. We had a hilarious time together in the kitchen at camp as cook and assistant completely decked out in authentic white chef,s clothing feeding our starving boys. ps. She even took time to stop in Maynooth to pick up our necessities.

Peter and Barbara, Heather and Roger, Daryl and Judy and families, we are sad to hear of the passing of your mother, Noreen. She was a wonderful person and we feel so lucky to have known her over the years. We have had many great times with her and John. She has given much of her time to the needy in volunteering. Time was not measured by the years that she lived, but by the deeds that she did and the joy that she gave.Each day as it came, she left nothing undone that would brighten the load of some needful souls. She so unselfishly gave of herself. She will be missed by so many, but is surely now an angel in Heaven.
