Passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday February 4, 2018 at the age of 97. Edith Haird, beloved wife of the late Earl Wheeler. Much loved mother of David (Helen), Gary Wheeler and Allen (Marie). Predeceased by 1 son Cedric. Cherished grandmother of Earl, Kyle, Tanya, Kari, Katie and Mathew. Great grandmother of Hunter, Jordan, Hailey and Ava. Predeceased by 3 brothers Baden, Harold and Clifford Haird and by 3 sisters Ivy Barrington, Phyllis Dunster and Ruby Truesdell. Will be remembered by daughter in law Judy Wheeler. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from our chapel on Thursday February 8 at 11:00 am. Interment Gananoque Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
