Passed away peacefully at the Carveth Care Center on Sunday January 28, 2018 at the age of 87. Mildred Truax, beloved wife of the late Gordon Druce. Much loved mother of Carolyn Shaw (David), Sandra Rutherford, Gordie Druce (Sonia) and Crystal (Jim). Predeceased by 2 sons Clifford and Larry Druce. Cherished grandmother of 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Dear sister of Loraine Diefenbaker. Predeceased by 5 brothers Garnet, Lloyd, Clifford, Alfred and Alvin and by 2 sisters Hazel and Phyllis. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in our chapel on Thursday February 1 at 11:00 am. Interment Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Parkinson’s Society or to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
