Peacefully at the Carveth Care Centre with family by his side on Sunday January 7, 2018. Beloved husband of 61 years to Rose Burgess (nee Hayden). Much loved father of Kevin Burgess (Lorie), Kelly McMachen (Milton), and Ken Burgess. Cherished grandfather of Alicia, Branden, Candice, Neyssa and Chad. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Grace United Church on Saturday January 13, from 10:00 am until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 am. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Alzheimer’s Society, Grace United Church or to the Gibson Family Health Care Charitable Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
