Passed away suddenly at his home in Algonquin on Wednesday December 13, 2017 at the age of 51. Beloved son of Anne O’Neill (Paul) and the late John Hockey. Loving father of Sarah Barr (Herb), Jonathon, (Stephanie) and Adam (Ashley). Cherished grandfather of Savannah, Tessa and Aria, Thomas and Aiden. Dear brother of Tim Hockey (Kim) and Todd Hockey (Erika). He will be forever missed by his companion Laurie and her daughter Alicia. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. John the Evangelist Church on Tuesday December 19 at 11:00 am followed by cremation. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Charity of your Choice would be appreciated by the family.
