I am so sorry to hear about Ann's passing. We both thought she was a gracious and gentle lady who will be missed. As coordinator of the 1000 Islands Playhouse 50-50 group, I appreciated Ann's reliable efforts as a team captain and how she and Doug were such dedicated participants. The captains play an important role as the communicators with their individual teams. Couldn't do it without them.
Randy and I are also involved with Rotary and Ribfest and know how devoted Doug was and how he will not ask for but will need support in the future. as I'm sure he will continue to be a stalwart Rotarian. The summer BBQs at the Lake were so much fun and appreciated. They were welcoming to my Mom Joan,a friend of Rotary, at the last one.
I can imagine that Ann is without pain and smiling down on her family and friends from up above. Peace and blessings to you!

It was my pleasure to meet Ann through working the busy seasons with my brother @ Cliff's Garden Florist. She would come in and order and pick up flowers for Christ Anglican Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and her extended families at church, The Rotary Club and the many people she visited while volunteering as part of the Library outreach program.
Ann was a blessing to her family and to so many others.
We will miss her.
With deepest sympathy
Love

Dear Doug, Lauren, Holly and Steve,
I was saddened to learn that Ann lost her battle with cancer on the weekend. Thinking of her now, I'm glad I got to see her not once but twice this past summer before she became ill. I have to say that since my high school days in Gan, I always remember Ann as a second mother because I found her personality and demeanor so similar to my own Mom. She always had a warm and inviting smile. I'm sure that all of you will miss her very much, as will I. God bless her for being a beautiful wife and mother, and may her soul rest in eternal peace.

Doug and family - I'm very saddened to hear of Ann's passing. I have so many wonderful memories of time spent with her around the Playhouse and of course she always made time to say hello whenever we'd run into each other elsewhere. Such an elegant and gracious lady, her kindness was appreciated by all and the warmth and genuineness of her smile stayed in every room after she left. I wish you all much peace and comfort during this difficult time.
