I didn't know Mr Heasler. But I found a bulletin from his funeral. The scripture inside was his favorite. Whatever you do work for the Lord with all your heart and not for human masters . It as exactly what I needed to hear a reminder of what I need to do and even though I never knew Mr Heasler I just want the family to know that God is still using the life of this man who lived for God

David, Joy, Cathy & Families,
Let me start off by saying how truly sorry I am for your loss. No words can ease the pain of grief that you're feeling, but just know that we are all here for you to lean on. Uncle Stanley and I had this quirky thing when we would talk on the phone and he would never for the longest time say goodbye, he would just hang up! Well, one day I phoned him back and said to him, "you never said goodbye, and I was still talking". From that day on, he never forgot to say goodbye to me, and would often say it numerous times, just to give me a heads up that he was about to hang up:) You will be sadly missed by all of us.
Love your niece

One of my favorite childhood memories of my brother, Stan, was when him, myself and our older brother, Gordon decided to pull a prank on our father one day. Our Dad owned a Ford Model T and we thought that it would be funny to hook up part of the electric fence to the bumper. When Dad came out to crank the car, he got a pretty good jolt which we had a few laughs about, but it was short lived when he found out who was responsible:) The memories are all I have now and you will be truly missed.
Your Loving Brother

Pastor Dave, Lesley and family.
Liz and I did not know your dad Pastor Dave, but we know, through your interim ministry at Pine Grove, that he raised a true man of God in you. We understand he too loved the Lord and for that we and all you whom you have touched throughout your ministry, will forever be indebted. God bless you and Lesley at this time of remembrance.

no ear has heard,
and no mind has imagined,
what God has prepared
for those who love Him."

My deepest sympathy to the family. Stan was a great friend to my late husband Sandy MacRae, I am sure they are sharing stories already. He was one of the most Christian men I have ever met. He is gone but never forgotten!!
