Richardson: Sarah (Sadie) Jane

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sarah Jane Richardson (nee: Garrah) at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital on November 10, 2017.  Sadie was born on Howe Island to the late Henry Garrah and Florence Turcotte on March 27, 1916.  Beloved wife of the late Robert (Bob) Richardson. (1960)  Dear mother of Judy Pollard (Bob) of Napanee and Debbie Legault (Gerry) of Victoria B.C.  Predeceased by 2 sons Jack(1980) and Ron (1997).  Fun loving Nan of Sherry (Mark), Bob (Karen), Mike (Sharon), David, Pam (Blackie), Richard (Lisa), Ashini, Chenoa (Brad), Joshua, Alana (Jacob), and Genesa (Aaron).  Nan loved all of her 13 Great grandchildren and 7 Great Great grandchildren.  Sadie will be fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law Rita (Bill), all of her family members, old and new friends.  Our heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff of the Lennox & Addington County Hospital for their compassion and excellent care.  Sadie will make her journey home with a  Mass of Christian burial  in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Gananoque on Tuesday November 14 at 11am.  Rite of committal in St. John’s cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to Lennox & Addington County Hospital would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences please go to www.tompkinsfuneralhome.ca
