This is Scott, Dom Dompierre (my Dad) and me unloading some CNE award winning 'Red Brand' beef. This was likely in the late 60's. As you can see, Scott was right in there doing his part!
Sorry for the quality of the photo. Somehow the polaroid was a double exposure. The photo was sent by my brother Andre.

Anne and I are so saddened to hear of Scott's passing. Scott worked at our store (Dompierre's Grocery) after school. He was a no nonsense hard working guy, willing to learn while one of the nicest and most respected people I know.

My sincere condolences to all Scott's family. I'm in shock at the loss of this very fine man, whom I knew as a customer of our Lansdowne Hardware store. I liked and respected, Scott, who had a ready smile and a warm personality. Deeply saddened.

Mac - Ron and I send our deepest condolences in the loss of your brother Scott. We were shocked to read his obituary and still cannot believe it. As you know, Ron and Scott were both firefighters for many years and became friends during that time. We were planning on coming to the wake today but sickness has hit, so we just want you to know that you have been in our thoughts and prayers since the passing of Scott. We have great memories of the times we spent working with you at The Glen House.

Since hearing of Scott's passing, I find myself reflecting on memories of him - as a classmate, as a father, and always, as a friend.
Memories are precious - they are to be cherished since they connect us to Scott. Each of us have our own memories of Scott. He was a special person to each of us. In the words of Helen Keller "All that we love deeply becomes a part of us."
Scott has been a part of my life and that of my family and will not be forgotten.

I was devastated to hear.
Scott was one of my best friends when I was a teen. He was the boy next door (well across the street) on Hickory Street.

Scott was more than a wonderful neighbor he was a wonderful friend and very wise always had time to help ,listen never without a smile. Knowing he was right across the road if myself or daughter needed anything always made me feel secure. Scott was a good friend of my late brother, Wayne Smith, so he was often at our house. We were in the same grade, 7 I think. And it was nice that Scott kept in touch with my family over the years. Scott will be missed - I will imagine him driving his Harley through the Perley gates:)

the nicest guy and the greatest neighbor to my daughter krista leakey. she bought Veronica Mackenzie's house I think 2011 and not a day goes by that I am thankful scott was across the road from my daughter and my precious granddaughter Kaylee. As the years went on I felt secure knowing we was across the road and would help in any way. Kaylee and Krista baked cookies for Scott , visited him and when my husband Pat and I went down to cut the grass we would always see Scott and have a beer with him.. A very private person but always there when we needed a nail, a hammer or just a friendly talk. He will be missed by pat , gail kaylee and krista. Lisa and Lindsay you should know he was the best neighbor and friend to us. We will miss him . He had a big heart.
