MAITLAND: ANNIE ELEANOR

Eleanor Maitland passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on October 12th, 2017, age 95, at FoxRun Retirement Residence in Gananoque.  Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, A.G.M. (Bud) Maitland (2003) and her daughter Virginia Maitland (2003).  She leaves behind her daughters Judy (Michael) Toms and Marion (Tom) King and her sons Alex (Colette) and Will (Kathy Spratt) Maitland. Her grandsons Adam (Adele) and Jason (Rachel) Burton, Josh (Jessica), Sam (Ruth Flores), and Jaime (Kelsey) Maitland, Kris (Sarah) and Mike (Candice McHugh) King, and Kevin (Jennifer) Holter and her granddaughters Danielle (Adam Ross) Maitland, Kirsten and Megan Maitland and Rebecca King as well as seven great-grandchildren, Nathan, Finn and Cooper Holter, Ellery Burton, Laura and Rachel Maitland and Annie King as well as several nieces and nephews, their children and their grandchildren.

Friends are invited to join the family in a Celebration of Life for Eleanor at FoxRun Retirment Residence, 104 Thousand Islands Parkway, Gananoque on Saturday, November 18th, 2017 at      2:00 pm.  Internment will follow in the spring at The Beechwood National Military Cemetery in Ottawa, Ontario.  Donations made in her memory to Doctors without Borders, Grace United Church or the charity of your choice can be made either directly or at the Celebration of Life and will be appreciated by the family.
