Peacefully at the Carveth Care Centre on Saturday September 9, 2017 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Latta and the late William Irwin. Loving mother of Susanne Burt and Brenda Latta. Predeceased by 2 brothers James and William Walker, by 1 sister Clara McClung and by son in law Joe Barrio. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Friday September 15 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens 1895 Main St W, Hamilton, ON on Saturday September 23 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
