Very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Both of us have many fond memeories while living in Gananoque and next door to your family on Stone Street.
We both have great mememories socializing at the Gananaoque Fire Dept. functions and visits while boating on the St. Lawrence.He was a very kind and generous individual who always had time for a chat.Dave will certainly be missed.by many friends.

Dear Cathy, Jennifer, Valerie,Jeff, Cathy, and Michelle and families,
I was very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I have fond memories of him when we were neighbors all those years ago. When ever mom and dad went away some where on a trip dad would always say if you have any trouble call Dave. There was a time when we had a really bad snow storm and they were in Florida and I called Dave to get the furnace going again after a power outage and he came tromping up the hill with an ear to ear grin pushed the reset button and said the bill will be in the mail . That is just one of many that I have. Your memories are what will help you in the days and months ahead.

Dearest Catherine, Jennifer, Valerie, Jeffrey, Kathleen and Michelle and families
I am sorry I can't join you to pay my respects to a wonderful man, however I remember with fondness as a young girl, our Gananoque Fireman parade trips to the U.S, and certainly our times on MacDonald Island where our Dads would cook for many. Dave met everyone with a strong handshake, a gleam in his eye and a smile that no one could resist. The Harper's had a large loving family and it has been said the only thing you can take with you when you leave this world are the memories you have packed inside your heart.....there is no doubt Dave's heart is full.
