Dear Francis,
I only just learned of Pat's passing, and I feel your loss as we lost our sweet Amy last Nov. as well. You were a devoted husband to her, and it was evident that she loved you deeply. Her face would simply light up when she saw you coming. I will always remember her sweet spirit and the fun times we all had together in the sunroom during mealtimes on Connell 3, until Pat would take you for a walk around the floor - again! May God give you strength as you learn to go on without her.

Francis and Family,
Cameron and I are both so sad to learn of Pat's passing. She was such an inspiration, teacher, and kind sole. It is so true that to know her was to instantly be accepted. A part of who Cameron has become is a small part in due to Pat's encouragement, guidance and teachings.
May her spirit be free and soar. Her presence on earth, small but ever so mighty and fun will be very missed!

Francis,
I can not count the times I met you in the underground parking lot, on your way home from KGH while I was on my way in. You would have come directly from work to be with Pat. And then, on the weekend, I would see the two of you outside, walking around the block. I will always remember and deeply respect, the way you honoured your wife by doing everything in your power to give her your very best.

Francis, Peter and Danielle, I was very sorry to hear the news about Pat. I remember a funny and friendly neighbour who gave me my very first babysitting job in 1975. I remember camping with you guys, my first trip to Niagara Falls because of you guys, spending a lot of time at the house on the hill, when the kids were so small. Hard to believe how long ago that all was...I hope all of the wonderful memories you have of Pat, help you through this sad time. I don't live in Gan anymore and won't be able to attend on her celebration of life but please know that you are all in my thoughts

I am truly sorry for your loss Francis, Peter, and the rest of the Convert family. Pat was an amazing women and always found the good in people. She always had a smile on her face whenever you seen her and it was so contagious. I had the pleasure seeing her quite often when she came in for her dose of caffeine at Tim Hortons. She was a strong, decisive, loveable and friendly lady and she will be missed by alot of people. My heart goes out to all of the Convery family during this difficult time. R.I.P. Pat

Francis and family,
Words are difficult to find for what you and Pat have taught me in the short time I've known you. I've been a nurse for near 20 years, in this time I've never once seen a love like what you both shared for each other. How both your faces would light up when you saw each other. It was like seeing you both fall in love all over again every single day. Francis your patience with Pat when times were difficult, your devotion to making sure that no matter what she got what was best for her. The times when you stepped in to complete the tasks that we couldn't do.....it wasn't your job but you always rolled up your sleeves and helped us out. You embarked on a journey these last couple years that none of us should ever have to face and you did it like a champion. You Francis have made me be a better nurse by watching you. Your exactly what we all should aspire to be. So thank you for showing me what true love is as well as by making me a better nurse.
To you Pat fly high sweet angel in heavens garden you deserve the peace my friend. I hope they had an ice cold Pepsi at heavens gate for you.
