Suddenly at her home on Friday June 2, 2017 at the age of 58. Much loved daughter of Mike (Faye) Shippee, and Shirley Nicholas (Lionel). Beloved wife of Barry Vandusen. Loving mother of Patrick Laidlaw (Shawna) and Amber Fretts (Joe). Cherished grandmother of Taylor, Trinity, Tobias, Eli and Gracie. Dear sister of Joadie (Larry), Rick (Donna), Ronnie (Esther), Sheila, Brad (Marc), Dianna (Daryl), David (Karen), Todd (Janine), Chris and Mike (Jackie). Sister in law of Cheryl (Richard), Terry (Heather), Janet, and Kevin (Kelly). Predeceased by 1 sister Renee, by 1 brother Greg, and mother in law Doris. Survived by father in law Ivan (Diane). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held in the Spragueville Church on Saturday June 10 at 12:00 pm followed by burial in the Spragueville cemetery. A Reception will follow at the American Legion in Antwerp. A Celebration of Life will once again be held on Saturday July 29, at 12:00 pm; at 47 Station Rd. Gananoque, Ontario. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Gananoque and District Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
