Suddenly at home on Monday May 15, 2017 at the age of 68. Much loved father of Sarah Shannon (Chris) and Cameron Kyes (Ashley). Cherished grandfather of Sydney, Carley, Haley, Jalen and Carson. Dear brother of Karen Higgs, Wendall Burtch and Wayne Burtch. Predeceased by brothers Gary, Douglas and Sonny and by sisters Joy (Dolly), Evelyn (Dodie), Eleanor (Elaine) and Margaret. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Br#92 on Sunday May 28 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Gananoque Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
