Jackie, Jamie, Greg and Gerard:
Flora and I were deeply saddened to learn of Gord's death. Sorry that we are not there for you but we are on the road back from Florida.
We definitely will miss Gord's presence at Carveth's monthly Pub Night, Happy Hour and Men's Luncheon.
Up until recent times I was able to occasionally break through the wall that Altzheimers creates and we would briefly talk about past skiing trips etc and joke back and forth especially about him having to buy the next beer. Unfortunately those days faded. It is a tough road that he had to travel at the end but it is most difficult for those left behind. Any one of us might someday have to walk that same road.
Find strength and comfort in knowing that the many good times that you shared will never die. They will always be with you.
Gord fought a good fight and now he has eternal peace and rest.
