Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday February 7, 2017 at the age of 79. Agnes Turcotte, beloved wife of Ronald Goodfriend of 60 years. Loving mother of Jeanette Goodfriend (Don), Louise Bowden (Stephen), Betty Jo Penner (Mitch) and Angela DesRochers (Pete). Predeceased by 1 son Ronald. Cherished grandmother of Dawn (Rob), Rosa (Matt), Amanda (Nathan), Scott (Mandy), Adam, Sara (Justin), Ben (Kelly), Lacey (Greg), Hailey (Corey) and Amber (Pete). Will be lovingly remembered by numerous great grandchildren. Dear sister of Bernice, Fred (Sylvia), Wilma, Betty and Bob (Betty Anne). Predeceased by 1 brother Jim (Thelma). The family will receive friends on Friday February 10 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Philomena’s Church, Howe Island on Saturday February 11th at 11:00 am. Interment St. Philomena’s Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the UHKF Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to all the staff at the Kingston General Hospital for their genuine care and compassion.
