Obituary of Pearl Hill

Hill: Pearl Peacefully at home surrounded by immediate family and niece Mary, after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday October 22, 2012. Pearl Leakey, beloved wife of 55 years to Oliver Hill. Loving mother of Doug (Tracey), Mark (Marianne) and Keith (Lisa). Cherished grandmother of Joseph, Jeffrey, Tyler, Jamie, Ryan, Rachael and Owen. Step grandmother of Dana and Jenna. Dear sister of Tom Leakey (Ruth), Ralph Leakey (Hazel), Russell Leakey (Grace) and Stuart Leakey (Beth). Predeceased by 2 brothers Wilford and Ernie Leakey and by 2 sisters Edith Elder and Irene Dowd. Fondly remembered by sisters in law Bernice Leakey and Audrey Newell and by 1 brother in law Eric Hill. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from our chapel on Thursday October 25 at 1:00 pm. Interment Willowbank Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Grace United Church would be appreciated by the family.
