Obituary of Helen McCalpin

McCalpin: Helen Dorothea Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Saturday September 24, 2011 at the age of 84. Helen Sands, beloved wife of the late Voris McCalpin. Loving mother of Marjorie Cooper of Edmonton, Jim and his wife Nancy of Gananoque, Cheryl Clow (Vince Kenney) of Elgin and Bruce of Gananoque. Cherished grandmother of Crystal (Danny), Scott, Todd, Mandie, Tyler (Casie), Julie (Doug) and Pam (Brad). Great grandmother of Leah. Dear sister of Alfred (Gail). Will be fondly remembered by sister in laws Marie Garrah and Ruth Kirkwood. Predeceased by her parents Mrytle and Baden Sands, 1 sister Jean and her husband Bernie and by 1 brother Hardy. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 7-9 pm and again on Wednesday from 12:00 until time of service in our chapel at 1:00 pm. Interment Gananoque Cemetery. Donations made to the Diabetes Association or to Cystic Fibrosis would be appreciated by the family.
