Burwood: Vera
Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Monday July 18, 2011. Vera Gibson, beloved wife of Newman Burwood. Loving mother of Walter (Karen), Deborah Berry (Gary), Spencer (Crystal), Cheryl Burwood, Benita O'Jaik (Ron), Lisa Dwyer and Kerri Miller (Robert). Cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Dear sister of Glen Gibson (Gerri) of Calgary, Doris Venor, John Ferguson, Bonnie Scott. Predeceased by her mother Pearl, Step father Archie Ferguson, 1 brother Floyd and by 2 grandsons Darryl and James. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held at the Gananoque Cemetery on Saturday July 23 at 11:00 am. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
