Simpson: Gerald William Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Saturday July 16, 2011. Gerald Simpson beloved husband of Joan Sheppard. Loving father of Heather Simpson (Clarke Vanhorne), Chuck (Kyla), Sharon Wilkin (John), Dick, Wendy Weir and Patricia (Patti) Mooibroek (Harold). Dearest Grandfather of 5 Grandsons and 2 Granddaughters. Dear brother of Ferne McDonald and Edith Welch, Brother in law of Wayne Sheppard, Elaine Stinson and Doug Sheppard. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden St. Gananoque on Friday from 12-2pm followed by a service in our chapel at 2 O'Clock. Inurnment in Olivet cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to Grace United Church or to the Canadian Cancer society would be appreciated by the Simpson family.
