Obituary of Ford Breckenridge

BRECKENRIDGE: FORD EDWIN (Member of the Independent Order of Oddfellows# 114) After a lengthy illness at the Kingston General Hospital surrounded by family on Sunday December 17, 2006. Ford Breckenridge, beloved husband of Erma McFadden. Much loved father of Paul (Linda), and Mark (Mary). Cherished grandfather of Lianne Swann (Rich), Brad (Jen), Lorelea, Trudy-Ann and Jessica and great grandfather of Regan and Trent Swann. Lovingly remembered by sister Edith Tackaberry (Ben) and sister in law Iris Breckenridge. Predeceased by 2 brothers Gerald and Archie Breckenridge, by 1 sister Rhea Gray, and by parents Laura and Roy Breckenridge. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ford will be sadly missed by several extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday December 21, at Grace United Church at 2:00 pm. Interment Gananoque Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Diabetes Association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. The local Oddfellows will hold a service in the funeral home Wednesday evening at 6:30.
