GRAY: MARGARET "ANN"
(Veteran WWII Air Force Wireless Operator)
PEACEFULLY AT THE KINGSTON GENERAL HOSPITAL ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2006, IN HER 86TH YEAR, WITH DAUGHTER SUSAN BY HER SIDE. LOVING NANA TO ROBYN, ALEX, AND MALCOLM WHEAT. PREDECEASED BY HUSBAND FLOYD GRAY, BROTHER BOB, SISTER JANET AND PARENTS GEORGE AND SUSAN CUNNINGHAM. ANN WILL BE FONDLY REMEMBERED BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS AS A GENEROUS AND GENTLE LADY WHO LOVED GARDENING, THE ST. LAWRENCE RIVER, AND WALKS WITH HER DOG, "TAFFY". WITH SIGGI'S HELP, ANN WAS ABLE TO REMAIN INDEPENDENT UNTIL SHE BROKE HER HIP A WEEK AGO. IN KEEPING WITH ANN'S WISHES, HER BODY WAS DONATED TO THE QUEENS SCHOOL OF ANATOMY. THERE WILL BE NO FUNERAL OR MEMORIAL SERVICE AT THIS TIME. A PARTY TO CELEBRATE HER LIFE WILL TAKE PLACE NEXT SUMMER. AS EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY DONATIONS MADE TO THE GANANOQUE FOOD BANK OR TO THE GANANOQUE AND DISTRICT HUMANE SOCIETY WOULD BE APPRECIATED BY THE FAMILY.
