Donna, Brett, Angela and Lisa I was deeply saddened to hear the news on Saturday. I took a moment to thank God for his life and the friendship Tim and your family has had for mine. Gananoque's always been a close knit community and I know from personal experience that people share everything---Good or Bad. Brett, Lisa , Donna and Larry words cannot express or explain the loss you have to deal with right now. I just wanted to let you know the pleasure I have had working with your dad over the last year and a half. I have learned what a humble person he was and how when you became a friend of Tim's you were a friend for life and that he touched your life in some way or another. In all my times with your dad he never complained about having ALS, and always told me you take one day at a time, and with times so tough right now we will all need to take life one day at a time. I also know that your dad would not want us to mourn him but to celebrate him. And lord knows he is no doubt celebrating as we speak. Erica Merkley

Donna Lisa Brett&Angela and Larry: Cannot express how shocked and saddened we felt when we heard about Tim. How you will miss his unyielding love and support and his zest for life! Memories of fun-filled celebrations at his home, his dedication to family and work and his corny but cute sense of humour, surface in our minds, as we remember. I had only known Tim for a short time at Carveth, but he had always treated me with kindness and was so thankful for any care or conversation. He had a great sense of humour, and often made me laugh until my stomach hurt. He is missed and you are all in in my thoughts.

Gibson family, Sorry to hear about the loss of Tim Gibson. I had the opportunity to meet Tim several times over the course of four years spent with Brett in Halifax. Tim was a great man with a great personality and many of his traits could be seen in his children.
