Passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Thursday September 13, 2012 at the age of 78. Jacqui Chalut, beloved wife of Robert Bird of 57 years. Loving mother of Anne Bird, Laura Bird-Santamaria (Javier), Richard Bird (Cathi Richardson) and Barbara Hickey (Michael). Cherished grandmother of Kiri, Emily, Diana, Alexander, James and Julia. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Mass of Christian burial will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church on Monday September 17 at 11:00 am. Rite of committal, St. John's Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the St. John's Restoration Fund or to the Charity of your Choice would be appreciated by the family.
