Maureen and I crossed paths in the Queen's library system, as 2 of the 3 "Maureens" in the system. She was always so positive and friendly. My thoughts and most sincere expressions of sympathy are with her family and friends at this time. Hold on to the wonderful memories. With best wishes, Maureen Myers, Stauffer Library Reserve

Hi Rick, Patrick and Bradley: Just a short note to send our deepest sympathy to you all. Maureen and I were apart for a lot of years but whenever we saw each other we'd have a good old chat. She was so very proud of her boys and you guys are now young gentlemen that she will always watch over. She will always be by your side, mothers just always are no matter what happens. Rick you have been such a wonderful husband,I would hug you if I were there. Take good care, I know today and tomorrow will be very tough, but I am so glad that you have Darlene Murphy there to help, she is an angel sent from above. Love Nicki and family

Dear Rick, Patrick and Bradley Maureen was a very loving, dedicated wife and mother to all of you. She spoke so much about you growing up and I have many happy memories of her especially when we visited at the cottage and her and I paddled around the shore in the canoe, me being a little nervous but soon realized she was confident and experienced and soon put me at ease. She was a very good listener and we her coworkers here in the Law Library will miss her very much. Take consolation in the fact she is not really gone, for her spirit lives on forever till we meet again someday. Look to the clouds when you are missing her, and you will see the cloud angel watching over you with love. God Bless Barb

To the Knowles Family: Just wanted to express my deepest sympathies to you all - very sad to hear the news about Maureen. I only knew Maureen for a short period of time but I was astounded with her positive attitude, strong will, and courage. Despite being in so much pain and discomfort, she always made time to ask about my family and what was going on in my life. She was also very receptive to all of my suggestions during therapy sessions, even if she wasn't feeling well that day. I truly valued my time with Maureen during my visits and want you to know that I thought she was a remarkable woman. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family at this time. In sympathy, Al MacVicar
