I first met Jean when I was 14 years old. I worked for her, and with my Mother, for several summers at GBL in the kitchen and warehouse. We shared some amazing times together. I met and became friends with her spouse, children, grandchildren and cousins. She was a true lady. My condolences to all of the family. She and the Chief will now sail on forever, together.

My heartfelt condolences to the Norris family. Jean and Jack brought so many happy and wonderful days when they visited us or we visited them. My Mother and Dad, Irene and Ron Jordan held them in the highest esteem, as did we. I will remember Jean and always with a smile, hear her laugh.

l am so sorry to hear of Jeans passing. She was a resident of mine the short time l was at Carveth. I thought she was a delight she could be Jean but l still thought alot of her. Im sure she will be dearly missed by all her family. Good bless you all.

Maureen Nolan, Elgin, ON made a donation to St. John's Restoration Fund I met Jean in the late 60's. We wound up attending St. Lawrence College in Kingston and taking many of the same classes. We even travelled back and forth to school together. Over the years we periodically ran into each other in Gananoque, usualy grocery shopping, and would often have lunch together and get caught up on all the news. I loved her joie de vivre. Jean was positive and upbeat and always saw the glass as being half full. She always had my respect and admiration. To her family and friends my heartfelt sympathy.
