I remember meeting Michael in Ealing, London, UK in about 1992. He had come from Canada to stay with Penny and to travel in Europe. He had so much enthusiasm for all the new people and experiences he encountered, and I enjoyed listening to him and Penny plan their vacation with so much energy. When he returned to Canada he sent me some chocolate. I thought that was so kind - to remember that I had a passion for that peanut brittle you can only get over there. He hardly knew me at all, but still he thought of it. I know how much Penny appreciated his love and support through recent difficult times, and I'm sure his little namesake will grow up to be told stories about his Grandad that will keep his memory alive for years to come. We are thinking of you over here in the UK and remembering Michael with love.
