Obituary of Elma Harriet Allen

Allen: Elma Harriet At the Kingston General Hospital on Saturday December 25, 2004. Elma Smith beloved wife of the late Robert Allen. Loving mother of Elinor (Mrs. Don Rae) of Calgary and Marie (Mrs. Steve Slenker) of Boston. Predeceased by one daughter Betty-Lou Miller and her husband Dr. Thomas Miller. Dear sister of Grant and Omar Smith. Survived by 9 Grandchildren and 14 great Grandchildren. Predeceased by 4 brothers Gordon, Byron, Bruce, & Ralph, 2 Sisters Dora Bell, Betty Burns and by 2 Grandsons Robert Slenker and Roddy Rae. Elma will be sadly missed by several Nieces & Nephews. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden St. Gananoque on Tuesday December 28 from 12 noon until time of service in our chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment Gananoque Cemetery. Due to Family Holiday Commitments a celebration of Elma's Life will also be held in Grace United Church, Gananoque in the spring of 2005. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
